Kyndof Behind The Scenes: 9 Interns Celebrate Their First Steps in Fashion!

Fashion Interns at Kyndof

A New Chapter Begins for Fashion Interns in Seoul

This week was a remarkable step for Kyndof as we welcomed nine new interns in Seoul to our vibrant team. Even if for most of them it wasn’t their first experience in a workplace, many of these fashion interns felt a bit nervous about their first day at work. Coming into their new office space, their excitement was palpable as they embarked on this important step in their careers.

Welcoming Fashion Interns: A Tour of our Office Space

We kicked off the first day with a comprehensive office tour designed to help our interns in Seoul familiarize themselves with their new environment. This tour aimed to ease their nerves and highlight the extensive resources available to support their growth as fashion interns here. At the company, we prioritize creating a comfortable working atmosphere that fosters inspiration and creativity for every team member that steps foot inside our workspace, so that’s the first box we checked.

Lunchtime Connections: Building Bonds

During lunchtime, our new fashion interns had the opportunity to connect with and get to know a little bit more existing team members. This informal setting allowed everyone to share stories and previous experiences together, gradually building a sense of community. Nonetheless, it might take some time for us to merge together, all of our differences considered, but it’s important to start on the right foot. Collaborating across diverse fields and backgrounds enriched our team dynamic and strengthened the bonds among interns in Seoul.

Understanding Kyndof: Vision and Values

In the afternoon, the interns learned about the company’s mission to elevate Korea’s fashion industry on a global stage. They were able to get an overview on previous projects, successful campaigns, as well as what’s next to come for our brand: 2000Archives. They took part in meetings with their team leaders, looking into their specific tasks—ranging from Back-End Development to UI/UX Design and Growth Marketing. This experience was designed to help them understand how they can contribute not only to the company’s success but also to their personal development.

First Impressions: Insights from Interns in Seoul

We are dedicated to offer fashion interns unique opportunities that promote both personal and professional growth to open up as many doors as possible in their future. As the day came to an end, we asked our new interns for their impressions on how their first day at work went.

The new interns in Seoul expressed delight at Kyndof’s open-minded culture, emphasizing our commitment to collaboration and valuing every team member’s ideas. Each team member is able to create their own weekly schedule, based on project deadlines and priorities, an innovative approach they have not been exposed to before. They also appreciated the diverse environment, in which includes perspectives from Canada, Finland, Italy, and beyond—an experience they found very refreshing for a Korean-based company.

Advice for Future Interns

When we asked what advice they would give to future fashion interns preparing for their first day at work at our company, here are some thoughtful responses:

  • Don’t be too nervous; enjoy your time here!
  • Your Onboarding Buddies are here to support you, so don’t feel overwhelmed.
  • The atmosphere is calm and welcoming!
  • Be passionate about your role and come prepared.”

Looking Ahead: Excitement for this Journey

Overall, our new fashion interns are eager to collaborate collectively over the next few weeks. This unique opportunity allows us to learn from one another, share multiple perspectives, and also build lasting connections in the fashion industry. As we embark on this journey together, we look forward to facing challenges and celebrating successes together, as a unified team. Stay tuned to see what’s next for our new interns at Kyndof!
