How Kyndof Welcomes New Team Members
Last Monday, the Kyndof team welcomed three new members. To help our growing team bond quickly, we planned something a little different and more personal this time — a welcome brunch to introduce Jaehee and Kangmin, who joined the design team, and Dongjae, our new production team manager.
R&R Sharing Through Standup
Our daily standup meetings used to be held team by team. This time, the entire Kyndof team gathered together. Everyone had the chance to introduce themselves and share their current projects, giving our three new members an immediate view of what each person across the company does.
Lunch Together as a Full Team
After standup, we had lunch together as a whole team. It was a relaxed setting where everyone could have conversations beyond work — getting to know each other as people. The three new joiners looked a little nervous at first, but by the end of the meal, the mood had become noticeably more comfortable.
One-on-One Time with the Team
In the afternoon, the new members had dedicated one-on-one time with each person on the team. Rather than focusing purely on work, these sessions were about building genuine human connections — understanding each colleague’s personality, interests, and working style.
Closing with a Personalized Gift
To wrap up the welcome day, each new team member received a personalized gift selected just for them. The gifts were chosen based on conversations and clues gathered throughout the day — making each one feel genuinely thoughtful rather than generic.
At Kyndof, welcoming new team members isn’t just a formality. It’s an investment in building a team where everyone feels like they truly belong from day one.
