2000Archives and AIRTOMYEARTH Unveil Their Second Collaboration
2000Archives has released a 17-piece second collaboration with stylist Jamie of AIRTOMYEARTH, spanning clothing plus towels, clutches and sleep masks, first shown at a Paris exhibition.
The Korean designer brand 2000Archives has unveiled a new collaboration with Jamie, the London-based stylist and visual director known as AIRTOMYEARTH (Jamie-Maree Shipton). It is their second project together, following a first collaboration of printed beanies and stockings released last July.
The collaboration pieces were first shown at Airtome-xhibition, an exhibition held in Paris from February 28 to March 1. Because visitors could buy the products early on site, the show left many fans in Korea disappointed. After the exhibition, a total of 17 pieces were released on the official 2000Archives website.
Unlike the previous collaboration, which consisted only of the brand's signature stockings and beanies, this one includes a wider range of clothing such as hoodies, dresses, football-jersey-style shorts and short-sleeve T-shirts. Added to that are more playful categories the brand had not shown before, including towels, clutches and sleep masks. For anyone who has found the 2000Archives prints hard to wear until now, it is also an easy way into the brand.
The images printed on the collection pieces are photographs taken by Jamie himself. They reflect his taste and style, from the dog that appeared on the earlier beanie to the photographs of travel suitcases he has posted on Instagram. The colors are led by pink and purple, adding a kitsch yet vintage feel.
The exhibition has now closed, but the collaboration products can be purchased on the official 2000Archives website.
