2000Archives Launches Bizletics Line at Paris F/W Show and Shanghai Showroom
Kyndof's womenswear brand 2000Archives staged its F/W 2023 collection in Paris on March 19 and a Shanghai showroom event on April 1, launching its Bizletics line.
2000Archives, the womenswear brand of Kyndof under chief executive Kim Sunbin, has appeared on the global fashion stage twice in succession in a push to raise its international profile. On the 11th the brand said it had held its season-opening event, the fall/winter 2023 collection in Paris, on March 19, and had gone on to hold a successful showroom event in Shanghai on April 1.
2000Archives was founded in 2020 by creative director Hong Daeun, who studied fashion communication and promotion at Central Saint Martins (CSM), the art school in London. She recently joined Kyndof, adding pace to the brand's expansion. According to the brand, the F/W 2023 collection, which drew its inspiration from the world of office wear, became a talking point within the fashion industry.
At the Paris collection the brand also announced the launch of a new line, Bizletics, a combination of business and athletic. Bizletics pieces are built around firm silhouettes combined with distinctive prints, and include women's athletic items such as printed corset tops drawn from sportswear. Silhouettes inspired by the brand's signature vintage run through the collection. Garments made in heavy fabrics, among them tailored trouser suits, pencil skirts and double-breasted wool coats, added depth and warmth to it.
The brand sees the Paris collection as an important milestone for its season opening. Having demonstrated its ability to create fashion that breaks down boundaries and stirs the imagination, it intends to accelerate its move into global markets. At the Shanghai showroom event that followed, it presented the Bizletics pieces to an enthusiastic Chinese audience and marked the line's successful launch. The brand said the run from Paris to Shanghai had firmly established its presence within the international fashion world.
“I am very proud of the successful season opening in Paris and the warm welcome in Shanghai,” said creative director Hong Daeun. “The Bizletics collection aims to break out of fixed frames, and we will share unique, bold and unforgettable designs with fashion lovers around the world.”
