2000Archives Widens Consumer Reach With Denim-and-Rose Pop-Up at The Hyundai Seoul
A "Denim & Rose" pop-up run by Kyndof's 2000Archives at The Hyundai Seoul has drawn a strong response, and the brand is now planning a new pop-up to open in the second half of the year.
A pop-up that 2000Archives is running at The Hyundai Seoul in Yeouido, Seoul, has drawn a strong response and is widening the brand's points of contact with consumers. 2000Archives, run by Kyndof under chief executive Kim Seon-bin, has a following among the MZ generation. The brand built the pop-up space around a "Denim & Rose" concept, dressing it with roses and denim, and drew attention on that basis.
The space itself, usable as a photo zone, caught the eye. Visitor interest grew further as the pop-up paired exclusive items available only at the store with an early look at the summer collection and a sample sale.
Hong Da-eun, creative director of 2000Archives, said the pop-up "proposed a new spring look by combining denim fabric with a romantic rose pattern," adding that the concept "is a contemporary reinterpretation of 2000s fashion, and it drew a strong response from consumers looking for a distinctive style with personality." She also said, "Many consumers visited the pop-up, tried the 2000Archives style and uploaded it to social media, enjoying fashion," and that as a result "we were able to actively convey the brand's value and image, and communication with consumers went smoothly."
Mega-influencers actively posted looks from the brand on social media, making it a talking point both online and offline and extending the brand's following beyond its existing fan base to general consumers. On the strength of that success, 2000Archives is planning a new pop-up to open in the second half of the year.
