K-Pop Fashion Brand House Kyndof Raises 2.6 Billion Won in Seed Funding

Kyndof has raised 2.6 billion won in seed funding led by Bluepoint Partners, having been profitable since its founding year with overseas sales above 30% of revenue.

Kyndof, a K-pop fashion brand house startup, said on the 17th that it has raised 2.6 billion won in seed funding. The round was led by Bluepoint Partners, with Murex Partners, Base Ventures and Incheon Center for Creative Economy & Innovation–The Invention Lab investing alongside.

Kyndof runs 2000Atelier, which produces stage costumes for K-pop artists, and 2000Archives, a fashion brand that sells to consumers off the back of those costumes. It has made stage outfits for top artists in Korea and in the United States, Europe and Japan, including BLACKPINK, aespa, LE SSERAFIM and IVE, and records a high repeat-order rate by meeting very short lead times at high-end quality.

The company has been profitable since its founding year in 2023 and has grown revenue more than twofold a year on average. Overseas sales now account for more than 30% of revenue, and its own Instagram account passed 100,000 followers without separate marketing spend. It is building a scalable business model by adding data and AI-based design automation.

"Kyndof is building a singular model for converting the global cultural asset of K-pop into revenue," said Ryu Goeun, senior investment manager at Bluepoint Partners, who led the round. "By combining a data-driven operating system with AI, it will drive structural innovation in the fashion industry."

With the funding, Kyndof will advance its design and manufacturing infrastructure under the concept of "fast haute couture", aiming to hold short production times and high finish quality at the same time. "This is the moment to extend the competitiveness Korea has won in content into brands," said chief executive Kim Sunbin. "We will complete a brand house model that supports a range of K-lifestyle brands with vertically integrated infrastructure."
