K-Pop Fashion Tech Startup Kyndof Wins Global TIPS Backing of 1.2 Billion Won Over Three Years

Kyndof, a K-pop fashion brand house startup, said on the 26th that it was selected for Global TIPS, which provides up to 1.2 billion won in R&D funding over as long as three years.

Kyndof, a K-pop-based fashion brand house startup, said on the 26th that it had been selected for Global TIPS, the Ministry of SMEs and Startups' private investment-led technology startup support program.

The TIPS global track identifies early-stage startups whose capacity to enter global markets has been verified and provides them with up to 1.2 billion won in R&D funding over as long as three years. Through the selection, Kyndof raised a total of 3.8 billion won, including 2.6 billion won in seed investment.

Kyndof holds in-house technology including an AI agent builder, a workflow engine and an automation hub. On that basis it runs 2000Atelier, which produces stage costumes for K-pop artists, and the fashion brand 2000Archives.

The funds will go toward advancing its AI agent platform technology and expanding automation solutions built on fashion and 3D modeling. The company also plans to focus on building overseas partnerships and accelerating its entry into global markets.

Kim Seon-bin, chief executive of Kyndof, said the Global TIPS agreement "is the result of official recognition of Kyndof's technological capability and growth potential," adding that the company "will grow into a company with global competitiveness in the fashion tech field."
