Kyndof Joins Global TIPS, Completing a 3.8 Billion Won Raise

K-pop-based fashion brand house startup Kyndof has been selected for Global TIPS, completing a total of 3.8 billion won in funding that includes a 2.6 billion won seed round.

K-pop-based fashion brand house startup Kyndof has been selected for Global TIPS. TIPS is a private investment-led technology startup support program overseen by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, under which the government and private investors jointly identify and back startups judged to have high growth potential. Companies chosen for it are regarded as having had their technology verified.

Through the selection, Kyndof has completed a total of 3.8 billion won in funding, including 2.6 billion won in seed investment.

The money will go toward advancing its AI agent platform technology and expanding automation solutions built on fashion and 3D modeling. Building overseas partnerships and accelerating entry into global markets are also among its priorities.

Kyndof runs two brands on the basis of in-house technology that includes an AI agent builder, a workflow engine and an automation hub: 2000Atelier, which produces stage costumes for K-pop artists, and 2000Archives, a B2C fashion brand. The company has drawn attention for driving innovation in planning, production and operations across the fashion industry.

The Global TIPS selection is expected to have a positive effect on the company's future hiring and on its global business expansion.

Kim Seon-bin, chief executive of Kyndof, said the Global TIPS agreement "is the result of official recognition of Kyndof's technological capability and growth potential," adding that the company "will grow into a company with global competitiveness in the fashion tech field."
