Applicant Privacy Notice
How Kyndof handles the personal information of people who apply for a role.
What we collect
Your name, email, phone number (optional), résumé and portfolio files or links, and the answers you give in the application.
We do not ask for information the process does not need, such as national ID numbers, and we do not use it if it appears in a résumé.
How we use it
Only to run the hiring process and tell you the outcome. We do not use it for anything else, we never sell it, and we share it with no one beyond the processors listed below.
Automated analysis may help decide the order in which applications are reviewed, but people always make the decision.
Who can see it
Only the people responsible for the role and those who take part in your interviews.
Where it is kept
Applications and files are kept in our access-restricted recruiting system. Notes on the hiring process are kept in our internal workspace (Notion); files are never uploaded there.
Processors
We use these services to run hiring: website and servers (Vercel), application and file storage (Supabase), hiring notes (Notion), email (Google Workspace), and review assistance (Anthropic, TypeSafe). Some of them run servers outside Korea (for example in the United States), so your application may be transferred to and stored there.
Ask us at the address below for the details of each processor and any overseas transfer (country, timing, items).
How long we keep it
For the period set for the role (180 days by default) after the hiring decision, then deleted. We keep it for this period so you can ask for your documents back under Korean hiring-fairness law.
If you agreed to join our talent pool, we keep it for up to one year after the decision, then delete it.
We email you when your information has been deleted.
Access, correction, early deletion
Write to join@kyndof.com. We will confirm, act on your request, and let you know. The same address handles access, correction, restriction and withdrawal of consent.
