KYNDOF CAREERS / JOIN THE TEAM
CEO Staff — Technology & Special Projects
Work with the CEO to identify business opportunities and bottlenecks, connect technology with hands-on execution and create lasting business value.
Find the next opportunity in a creative business and make it work.
CEO Staff — Technology & Special Projects
Kyndof operates womenswear brand 2000Archives and stagewear studio 2000Atelier. We create value by connecting imagery and taste, materials and production, and customer and market responses. We are looking for someone who will work with the CEO to identify important business problems and turn technology and hands-on execution into results.
You will take ownership of ambiguous projects, learn the relevant domains, decide what to solve and execute directly. You will understand the business and design how people, data, tools and processes work together, then establish the solution in everyday operations.
Problems we could solve together
These are examples. We will choose projects based on their value and feasibility.
- Improve how customer images, requests and references become plans, quotations, production work and deliveries, enabling the business to handle more valuable orders.
- Connect sales, inventory, marketing and customer feedback to product and reorder decisions, and to the actions that follow.
- Test new customer segments, sales approaches and services through small experiments, then turn successful methods into repeatable operations.
- Connect images, documents, messages and tools that people currently move or interpret manually, making work possible that was previously too costly or complex.
What you will do
- Identify opportunities and bottlenecks with the CEO, and propose priorities and success criteria based on expected value, costs and constraints.
- Meet customers and operational teams to understand real work, implicit rules and exceptions. Learn unfamiliar domains and technologies quickly and revise initial assumptions.
- Design who makes which decisions, using what information and criteria, and how the next action happens. Resolve gaps in information, ownership and execution across teams and tools.
- Execute data analysis, automation, AI-assisted work, scripts and process improvements directly. Test new approaches in small experiments and expand what works.
- Build and operate small automations, data-processing flows and validation prototypes yourself. For complex product or system development, share design and implementation responsibilities with engineers and connect operational needs with technical constraints through to real use.
- Coordinate decisions and establish adoption, training and operating practices. Track changes in revenue opportunities, margins, lead times, quality and operating costs, and revise or stop work that is not delivering value.
Use technology to make the business work
Use API integrations, browser automation, LLMs, VLMs, data processing and machine learning where needed. Decide which approach fits, experiment directly and work with relevant specialists to complete the workflow.
Translate operational language into data definitions and business rules. Design error-reduction measures with implementation owners, including type-safe data contracts and schema validation. Model errors, changed screens, missing data and duplicate execution need detection, recovery and manual fallback paths. Apply the same standards to automations you build yourself.
Learn the visual, material, silhouette and brand context that matters to designers and operational teams. Turn their judgments into examples, feedback and evaluation criteria, and check whether technology improves both creative quality and business value.
What we look for
- Experience structuring an ambiguous business or operational problem, choosing priorities and taking responsibility for execution and results.
- The ability to connect customer value, revenue, cost and operational constraints, and propose decisions grounded in evidence.
- Systems thinking across people, information, tools, decisions and actions, including the downstream effects of a change.
- The ability to understand both operational and engineering constraints and turn disagreements into workable decisions.
- Experience personally building and validating useful outputs through analysis, automation, AI tools or scripts.
- The ability to learn unfamiliar domains through questions, source material and experiments, and to adapt after failure.
- The ability to manage dependencies and priorities across projects and increase impact through reuse, standards and collaboration.
Helpful experience
- Owning both problem definition and execution in an early-stage business, entrepreneurship, business development, product work or operations.
- Connecting commerce, production, inventory, CRM or sales workflows and changing how people actually use them.
- Operating automations involving tools without APIs, unstructured documents and images, or data-quality problems.
- Experience in fashion, design, content or another business where aesthetics and operational judgment matter.
We do not require experience in every field or tool. We look for problems you have solved deeply and evidence that you can extend that capability into unfamiliar work.
How we work and what progress looks like
Agree on priorities with the CEO and operational owners, then lead the projects you own. Define responsibilities and decision rights with Full-stack Builders and other technical colleagues for each project. Success means business results and an organization that can repeat them.
Start by understanding the business and defining the value, hypothesis and baseline for the first project. Put a workflow into real use, validate its effect and operating burden, and establish ownership and standards before expanding. Specific timelines will reflect the agreed scope.
Show us your work
Send a resume and one or two problem-solving examples you led. Work products, project records, analysis, automations, services or explanations with confidential details removed are all welcome.
- What problem or opportunity did you identify, and why was it the priority?
- How did you learn unfamiliar domains and operational rules? Which initial assumptions were wrong?
- Whose differing views did you reconcile, and what did you personally execute?
- Which technologies and working methods did you combine? How did you handle failures and exceptions?
- What changed in real use and business results, and what did you leave so the work could continue without you?
We assess business judgment, technical understanding and direct execution separately. Show the evidence behind your decisions and results.
